The Fayette County debate team helps out the Literary team every year by supplying the team debaters who can do Extemporaneous Speaking and Dramatic Interpretation.  Since 1997, Fayette debaters have fared well in the Literary State Championships and have captured 3 Extemp State Championships and 1 DI State Championship.
