FAYETTEVILLE, GA: The first tournament of the year wrapped up last weekend at Fayette County HS. The Fayette Classic featured 23 schools from two states. Fayette County had a Varsity Policy team participate to add to the Varsity numbers. Iesha White and Stephanie Miller held a winning record and defeated Lincoln County, Milton and Carrollton. They were the 5th seed and would have made quarterfinals- however, the tournament broke to Semifinals. Iesha White was also the 10th speaker. Great job girls!
